Lecturer in Childhood and Youth Dr Emma Katz visited the University of Lapland, Finland, to build a new collaborative research partnership with Finnish researchers.
Professor Merja Laitinen and Dr Anna Nikupeteri, supported by €480,000 from the Academy of Finland, have selected Dr Katz as co-author for an academic article provisionally titled ‘When coercive control continues to harm children: Post-separation fathering, stalking, and domestic violence’.
The article brings together Finnish data with Dr Katz’s own UK-based data on children’s experiences of domestic violence, and will be submitted later this summer.
