A new chapter by Lecturer in Creative Writing Dr Paul Johnston will feature in Palgrave and MacMillan’s latest book Teaching Crime Fiction.
The author of three crime fiction series, Dr Johnston’s chapter is entitled ‘The Crime Novelist as Teacher: Towards a fuller understanding of crime fiction’.
It focuses on the practitioner as teacher in contrast with and addition to the academic as analyst.
The book is part of the Palgrave and MacMillan Teaching the New English series and is scheduled for publish in 2018.
