The Institute of Physics and Global Generation hosted a special storyteller event featuring Subject Leader in Drama and Theatre Studies Dr Stephe Harrop.
Organised as part of the Being Human Festival, the evening event saw physicists and storytellers gather around a bonfire in front of a live audience to share stories about the creation and destruction of the universe.
Dr Harrop was among the performers at the event, re-telling a set of ancient Greek stories of the beginning of the cosmos.
Attendees joined a fireside chat in the Skip Garden, London, where discussions focused on how different cultures through the ages have explored the ideas of how the universe came to be and what our ultimate fate is.
This event brought together myths and legends from all over the world and the latest scientific discoveries about the nature of the universe.
