Fine Art students have been given the opportunity to put their skills and learnings in to practice at one of Liverpool’s top music festivals.
The second year students have been commissioned to design stage sets and projections for both small and large capacity venues at Sound City 2018.
Professional Tutor in Fine Art Tony Smith said: “This collaboration forms the continuation of a long working relationship between Liverpool Hope’s Fine and Applied Art Department and Sound City.
“It has been made possible thanks to a successful learning and teaching fund bid.”
Sound City 2018 will take place at Liverpool Baltic Triangle and Cains Brewery on Saturday 5th – Sunday 6th April.
Returning for its 11th year, the festival celebrates music and arts from around the world, and will feature more than 250 bands and headliners across the weekend.
