Hope Joins Forces with Sports Coaching Specialists LLS

Kids training with LLS

Liverpool Hope University has joined forces with LLS to ‘train the next generation of sports industry leaders across the UK and beyond'.

LLS, headquartered in Woolton, is one of Britain’s fastest growing sports coaching and post-16 education companies.

Internationally, the company specialise in a multitude of sports but here in Liverpool the primary focus will be football, as LLS recruit male and female youngsters who are both talented on the pitch and also academically capable off it.

These future stars are given both elite sports training as well as professional and academic coaching so they can thrive in their future career - whether that’s playing for a top-flight club or becoming a physio, referee, nutritionist or first team manager.

The new collaboration between LLS and Liverpool Hope University will offer international students the opportunity to study a range of degrees, including business and marketing, Law and Psychology, as well as Health Sciences like Sport and Physical Education.

Away from the lecture theatres, students will take their playing ability on to the next level thanks to regular elite level coaching, a structured strength and conditioning programme supported by a sports science approach.

Jordan Wright, LLS Managing Director and Hope alumna, said: “At LLS, we are innovators in sports coaching and education.

“We provide our students with unique experiences which add value to their CVs and assist them to reach outstanding destinations. These destinations include university, global sports industry employment in coaching, as well as apprenticeships.

“We’re delighted to have signed a new partnership with Liverpool Hope University, as we look to foster and promote the University’s vital international reach.”

Professor Gerald Pillay, Vice Chancellor and Rector of Liverpool Hope University, said the LLS agreement would enhance the University’s international reputation for academic excellence.

He added: “Liverpool Hope University has one of the best graduate employment rates in the UK, with 98.1 per cent of our students in employment or further education six months after graduating.

“And through the newly-announced partnership with LLS, we will equip students with the academic and professional skills they need to thrive in highly-competitive global sports industries.”

LLS also comes highly recommended by other giants of sport.

Dr Brian Barwick, former chief executive of The Football Association and Chairman of football's National League, said: “I have worked with LLS over the past decade and have found them to be dedicated, driven and determined to deliver the very best for their clients.”
