Some of the biggest names in Indian music and dance will be appearing at Liverpool Hope’s Capstone Theatre as part of Indika 2018.
Organised by Milapfest - Britain’s leading Indian arts development trust – Indika is Europe’s largest festival of Indian arts, and features an extensive schedule of performances and events taking place across Liverpool and beyond.
There is a host of film, dance, participatory events, and more, including two family friendly children's concerts taking place during the festival, as well as a number of fringe events.
Indika will also showcase three world premieres, and bring to the stage a number of famous names, including flautist Pravin Godkhindi, and the Kathak duo Abhimanyu and Vidha Lal.
The Capstone Theatre will play host to several unique events from Wednesday 24th October – Sunday 28th October, with an additional evening event on Saturday 3rd November.
The line-up includes VIBHAVA by Abhimanyu & Vidha Lal, TALATTU by Rukmini Vijayakumar, Rajhesh Vaidya, RN Prakash & Prathap Ramachandra, Pravin Godkhindi & U-Rajesh, and Woh Chand Khila featuring Pooja Angra & Karan Rana.
