Design graduate Catherine Dalton joined 20 artists from across Merseyside to showcase her art in a unique community installation.
The alumna, who now runs Dead Pigeon Gallery with co-founder Jayne Lawless, teamed up with Homebaked Community Land Trust to host an exhibition in a semi-derelict terraced house in Anfield.
Inspired by the working and personal relationship between the Gallery and Homebaked – a local cooperative bakery – the exhibit aimed to show art in unexpected places.
The pieces on show displayed the collective creativity that has developed through the Homebaked community.
By focusing on the community element, the exhibit provided an example of how art and culture can transform areas.
