Dr. Anna Ni joined Liverpool Hope Business School as a postdoctoral teaching fellow in April 2021 after completing her Ph.D. degree at the University of Huddersfield in 2020. She has been in her current role as Lecturer in Marketing since March 2022 and teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across Marketing and Business Management disciplines. Prior to her teaching career, she studied BA(Hons) in Marketing (2012-2015), a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods (2015-2016), and a Ph.D. in Management Studies at the University of Huddersfield where she received the Vice-chancellor's fee waiver scholarship. As for industry experience, she has worked in various roles for many years in the Customer Service industry. She is a certified fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA, AFHEA) respectively.

Her doctoral research draws attention to consumer psychology and behaviour within the emerging market. Specifically, the impact of brands on consumers' product evaluation and their buying decision-making. Upon finishing her doctorate in 2020, Anna worked as a Research Assistant at Huddersfield University for the project granted under the Covid-19 pump-priming internal URF fund 2020, titled "Redefining the principles of a 'responsible' corporation: Evaluating corporate behaviour during the Covid-19 pandemic".

She is passionate about research excellence with a strong belief in continuous development. She has presented her research at many conferences and has also been published in academic journals. She has been collaborating with colleagues from both Liverpool Hope University and other universities in the UK and internationally. These projects revolve around her research interest including a cross-cultural study in sustainability practices in marketing, corporate branding strategy, CSR practices in developing countries, and modelling consumer behaviour. She is also a journal reviewer at Cogent Business & Management; Cogent Social Sciences; and the University of Kurdistan Hewler (UKH) Journal of Social Sciences since 2019. In addition, she has been successfully supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students' research dissertations in the marketing disciplines using qualitative and quantitative research methods.
