I graduated with a First Class BSc in Psychology and IT (Joint Hons) at Liverpool Hope in 2000. In 2014 I was awarded a PhD from Liverpool John Moores University after studying part-time alongside a full -time job at the University. My thesis is entitled "A Longitudinal Cohort Study Examining the Relationship between Working Memory and UK Primary School Curricular Mathematics".
My role at Liverpool Hope University is Professional Tutor and Lab Manager in Psychology.
Current course lead responsibilitiy for Level C Experimental Programming and Design (Level C)
Teaching and development of content for Level H Investigating Psychology (PsychoPy and Qualtrics strands)
My interests have expanded to encompass resilience and mental toughness in both teaching and student populations. I am also interested in attitudes towards statistics and attainment, and factors that may influence student engagement and attainment
