Yvonne Ward is a Senior Professional Tutor; she co-ordinates the Primary Mathematics Team, teaching on both the undergraduate and post-graduate programmes. Yvonne is a recent primary Deputy Headteacher having many years’ experience teaching in both community and faith schools. During her teaching career Yvonne was a Local Authority Advisory Teacher and also a Leading Mathematics Teacher. She is a marker for the KS2 National Curriculum Mathematics tests and also a community governor. She holds an MA in Education and Leadership, NCSL’s Leadership Pathways and the CCCRS qualifications.
Her research interests include the paradigm shifts in primary assessment practice since the 1862 Revised Codes in Education. Current research areas are concerned with pedagogy in primary mathematics.
