I joined Liverpool Hope in September 2019. My academic research has explored a number of key questions within the broad are of visual cognition. These interests include understanding the psychological processes involved in searching for visual targets, including man-made threats and basic processes in face perception. In recent years I have also become interested in how visuo-cognitive theories can help us to understand the spectatorship of paintings.
