What is Clearing?

Clearing is a part of the UCAS application timeline that helps students find and apply for university courses that are still open. It’s available to those who haven’t received or accepted any offers, didn’t meet the conditions of their offers, or are simply applying after 30 June.

When does Clearing open in 2025?

Clearing for 2025 entry opens on 5 July. If you already have your Level 3 results, from this date, you can start exploring courses with available places and contact us directly to express interest, but you can always contact us earlier if you have any questions.

How do I apply through Clearing?

You can search for available undergraduate courses here. Once you find a course, you contact us directly to discuss your options and complete a clearing form, or you can complete our online form here. If we are able to make you an offer, you can add the course to your UCAS application under the 'Clearing' section.

Do I need to apply as soon as possible to get a space?

It’s good to act quickly, as courses close when they are full —but don’t panic. Take the time to research, ask questions, and make sure the course that's right for you.

Accelerate Programme

If you don't quite qualify for one of our Degree with Foundation Year, don't panic. You could be eligible for our week-long Accelerate Programme. This course is aimed at giving you the skills to succeed at University, and successful completion of the course could make you eligible to start with us in September.
