Teaching News: Liverpool Hope Graduate Named Best Male Teacher in EYFS 2025
PGCE graduate and proud Liverpool Hope University alumni, Simon Taylor, has been named Best Male Teacher in EYFS 2025, making a lasting impression in the early years education community just two years into his career.
Simon received the prestigious award in recognition of his exceptional dedication, innovative teaching practices and positive impact on the lives of his pupils and colleagues at Castleway Primary School, in Wirral.
In a local publication, Simon is quoted to say, “I am truly honoured and humbled to receive this award.” The article also shares how Simon’s commitment to Early Years education shines throughout his classroom with a colleague saying, “observing him teaching is like medicine for the soul.”
