Summer sees the grounds at the Childwall Campus looking particularly beautiful and so it seemed a good time to arrange a lunch for former students and staff from all sections of the Hope community – Liverpool Hope University, Liverpool Hope University College, L.I.H.E. and the three church founding Colleges, S. Katharine’s, Notre Dame and Christ’s College. On the same day, the local community group, Childwall in Bloom is organising its annual garden event in the University’s grounds with lots of activities planned for visitors and their families.
There will be the chance to tour the grounds, listen to live music from the local community band “Benchmark” and the children will be able to take part in a Bug Hunt. Plants for the house and garden may be purchased with friendly advice given as to their care and maintenance. You can round off the afternoon with an afternoon tea of cakes, scones and tea and coffee at a very reasonable price.
This will be an informal gathering in welcoming surroundings with the chance to relax and chat after a meal. The lunch starts at 12.30pm and will cost £12.00 and a special children’s menu will be £5.00. To book please either return the to us with a cheque or pay online.
