Work by Senior Professional Tutor Lin Holland will feature in the first of a series of major exhibitions celebrating the Bluecoat’s 300th anniversary.
Her Guardian collection will be showcased in Public View – which brings together work by more than 100 artists, who have previously exhibited at the gallery.
Among the notable names to be featured are John Akomfrah, Sonia Boyce, Jeremy Deller, John Latham, Mark Leckey, Elizabeth Magill, Yoko Ono and Yinka Shonibare.
Bluecoat has a reputation as an important regional venue for new art and for over a century has helped launched many artists’ careers, as well as hosting international exhibitions.
The exhibition runs until Sunday 23rd April.
