Liverpool Hope students celebrated the culmination of years of hard work, dedication and achievement as they graduated during three Summer Graduation ceremonies.
The ceremonies, held at the beautiful Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral from 14-16 July, brought together graduates from multiple disciplines, alongside proud family members, friends and staff. The occasion was a chance to celebrate academic success and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
For the Class of 2026, graduation marked not only the completion of their studies, but the start of careers in education, business, the arts and many other professions, with others continuing their academic journeys through postgraduate study.
Graduates reflected on the opportunities that had defined their time at Liverpool Hope, from inspiring teaching and rewarding placements to volunteering, international experiences and lifelong friendships.
Many students spoke about the close-knit community they found at Hope and the encouragement they received from lecturers and classmates throughout their studies. Health and Social Care graduates Eve Elliott, Daisy Johnson and Keely Hayward described the University as "more like a family than a university", while teacher training graduate Tommy Ellis reflected on finding a community where "everyone wanted you to do well and become the best you could be."
The University's strong emphasis on employability was also reflected in the success of this year's graduating class. Many students secured professional roles before completing their courses, while others are preparing to begin careers overseas or continue their studies at postgraduate level.
Among those embarking on new careers are graduates joining schools across the UK and internationally, including Anna McLoughlin and Alice Hayes, who will begin teaching in Doha.
The Summer Graduation ceremonies provided an opportunity to recognise the commitment and determination shown by the Class of 2026 and to celebrate the contribution they will go on to make in their professions, communities and beyond.
