Film and Acting students at Liverpool Hope University stepped into the world of stunt performance last week.
The unique event formed part of the Liverpool Film Office’s Connected Campus programme.
The Film Office team visited the University’s Creative Campus to deliver an immersive stunt taster session led by renowned stunt professionals Ray Nicholas and Eddie Sarsfield, whose credits include Braveheart, Titanic and Gladiator.
The hands-on workshop gave students the opportunity to explore the fundamentals of safe stunt practice, movement techniques and on-set collaboration with filmmakers and fellow actors, gaining practical experience under the guidance of industry experts. Participants left with new skills, greater confidence and a deeper understanding of career pathways within the screen industries.
The Connected Campus programme continues to strengthen links between Liverpool Hope University and industry, ensuring Liverpool’s emerging creative talent is equipped with the knowledge, skills and inspiration to take the next step in their careers.
