Liverpool Hope University is celebrating another strong performance, having built on its 24-place rise last year by a further six places in the Complete University Guide League tables 2019. This puts the University in the top 4 out of the 12 universities in the North West. This further rise in places means Liverpool Hope remains, for a second year, above Manchester Metropolitan, Liverpool John Moores, Edge Hill, Salford, Chester, Central Lancashire, Cumbria and Bolton in the North West rankings.

The Complete University Guide rankings are based on 10 measures: Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Entry Standards, Student: Staff Ratio, Spending on Academic Services, Spending on Student Facilities, Good Honours Degrees, Graduate Prospects and Completion. It includes 131 institutions across the UK.

Dr Penny Haughan, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Student Life and Learning, said: “We are pleased that this Guide reflects the strong focus we have on personalised learning and tutorial support for academic success here at Liverpool Hope. We are committed to offering small group teaching and providing our students with access to the latest thinking and research in their chosen fields. This draws a parallel with our ongoing achievements as a University.”

Liverpool Hope University offers its students the opportunity to study and live on a beautiful, safe, friendly campus, while also having the advantages of being close to one of Europe’s most vibrant and culturally renowned cities.
