Liverpool Hope University has been ranked fourth in the UK for student satisfaction following analysis by Times Higher Education (THE) of the recently released 2025 National Student Survey (NSS) results.

The NSS asks final-year undergraduate students to provide feedback on their university experience, covering a range of areas from learning opportunities, academic support and student voice amongst others.

The Times Higher Education’s independent analysis of the NSS 2025 results has ranked universities for overall satisfaction, with Hope achieving a positivity score of 87.8%.  According the THE’s rankings, this places Liverpool Hope in fourth position nationally. Hope was one of three Cathedral Group Universities to rank in the top 10.

The NSS results were released on Wednesday July 9, and saw Liverpool Hope take the top position in the North West across eight key areas.

THE’s analysis includes full-time and part-time students at English providers registered with the Office for Students as universities, plus University of London constituent colleges and universities in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. A small number of institutions were removed because of a low response rate.
