Liverpool Hope University has been ranked fifth in the UK for student satisfaction in the 2020 Complete University Guide (CUG).
The University is top in the North West in the same category - a guide to how satisfied students are with the quality of teaching they receive.
It means Hope students are more content with their learning than those at University of Manchester, University of Leeds, University of Sheffield and Cambridge, according to the CUG survey.
The CUG table features 10 indicators including student satisfaction, research quality, grades and graduate prospects in order to compare 131 UK Higher Education institutions.
Liverpool Hope’s sports science degree is number one in the UK for student satisfaction, while Hope are second in the same category for their marketing degree, third for theology and religious studies, fourth in Education and sixth in sociology.
Liverpool Hope is also ranked a place above world-renowned Oxford University in the student prospects category, which is a guide to the success of graduates on completion of their courses at the university.
Hope’s computer science degree is also second in the UK for graduate prospects above institutions such as Cambridge, Oxford and Imperial College London.
Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr Penny Haughan said: “I am delighted to see how highly we have ranked in student satisfaction, a category we consistently excel in across different surveys and league tables.
“Earlier this year the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019 placed us as one of the UK’s top 50 universities and first in the North West for student experience.
“This ranking is the result of all the hard work, quality teaching and dedication of our staff and also our students who are going on to employment and success after graduating.”
