Liverpool Hope University has risen 48 spots for Student Satisfaction in the Complete University Guide 2026, scoring 81%. This places the institution 10th nationally and first in the region in this category.
A host of programmes have also risen in the ranks and Social Work saw the biggest jump in places, from 28th to 15th. This places Hope third in the North West in this subject area. Graduate outcomes for this course were top-tier at 100% while student satisfaction ratings also improved.
Food Science also rose from 27th to 19th, maintaining strong entry requirements and continuation rates, while Theology & Religious Studies saw improvements in the 17th spot, bolstered by top continuation at 91.9% and high student satisfaction. Creative Writing and Geography also saw improvement.
The Complete University Guide rankings are based on ten measures including entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality, research intensity, academic services spend, spending on student facilities, continuation, student-staff ratio and graduate prospects, including outcomes and graduate prospects. It includes 130 institutions across the UK.

These rankings are in addition to the latest National Student Survey 2024 scores, in which Hope was ranked fifth in the UK for student satisfaction (by Times Higher Education).
