Liverpool Hope University retains international accreditation

Liverpool Hope University’s Business School is pleased to have retained globally recognised accreditation from AACSB.

AACSB International is the longest-serving accrediting body for business schools, and the largest business education network connecting students, educators, and businesses worldwide.

This accreditation is prestigious and requires a rigorous review process to attain, conducted by external peers across the business education community. Due to the exceptionally high standards required, only 6% of the world’s business schools currently hold AACSB accreditation.

Head of Liverpool Hope Business School Jo Whittingham said: “We are so proud to retain our accreditation with AACSB, which truly sets the gold standard for business schools across the globe. The School echoes AACSB’s pursuit for excellence in education and to make a positive contribution to the communities we serve. It is a privilege to be recognised within this carefully selected network of business schools and I am delighted for the team and our partners. It is a testament to the dedication, commitment and expertise offered by our Business School colleagues and partners to be recognised in this way.”

The framework for awarding AACSB accreditation considers a number of factors and identifies those schools who are leading the way in teaching, societal impact and research, with accredited schools generating more research grants and cited works.

Jo added: “We stand by our commitment to supporting and enhancing the business community locally, regionally and further afield. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that our graduates are equipped to make a real impact and shape the future of business as the next generation of leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.”
