Liverpool Hope University has once again been recognised as the leading university in the North West for student support, with the National Student Survey (NSS) 2026 placing the institution at the top of the region for Academic Support, Mental Wellbeing Services, and Assessment and Feedback.

The latest NSS results also rank Liverpool Hope among the top 20 universities in the UK for both Assessment and Feedback and Mental Wellbeing Services, underlining the University's reputation for delivering an exceptional student experience.

Published annually by the Office for Students (OfS), the National Student Survey captures the views of final-year undergraduates on every aspect of their university experience, from teaching quality to the support they receive throughout their studies.

This year's results reflect Liverpool Hope's continued commitment to putting students first, with personalised academic support, high-quality teaching, and sustained investment in wellbeing helping students thrive both academically and personally.

Professor Penny Haughan, Vice-Chancellor of Liverpool Hope University, said: "We are absolutely delighted that our students have once again recognised the quality of the experience we provide at Liverpool Hope.

"Being ranked first in the North West for Assessment and Feedback, Academic Support and Mental Wellbeing Services is a testament to the dedication of our academic and professional services staff, alongside our Students' Union colleagues, who work tirelessly to ensure every student feels valued, supported and empowered to achieve their full potential.

"These results are something the entire University community can be proud of, and we are incredibly grateful to our students for sharing their experiences through the NSS."

The NSS is one of the UK's largest annual surveys of final-year students, with more than 360,000 students taking part in 2026. The results provide an important measure of the student experience and help universities continue to enhance teaching, learning and support.

These latest rankings reinforce Liverpool Hope's reputation for combining academic excellence with outstanding personal support, ensuring students graduate with the confidence, skills and resilience to succeed long after university.
