Psychology lecturer receives international award for research excellence
Aenne Brielmann, a lecturer in Psychology at Liverpool Hope University, has been awarded the prestigious Alexander Gottlieb Baumgarten Award by the International Association of Empirical Aesthetics in recognition of her outstanding contribution to research in the field of empirical aesthetic
The award is regarded as a significant achievement for an early career researcher and recognises exceptional scholarly work and innovation within the discipline. Empirical aesthetics explores how people experience beauty, art and aesthetic perception through scientific research methods, bringing together areas such as psychology, neuroscience and the arts.
