Socially isolated members of the community were welcomed to Aigburth Park halls of residence for a special tea party.
Hosted by the Residential Life team, the event brought together students from across the UK and older individuals from the local area.
The guests were delighted to be back on campus after the summer break and enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea of sandwiches, cakes and scones.
After preparing and serving the afternoon tea, the students were paired with the guests for a very competitive game of Scrabble.
At Liverpool Hope, students are encouraged to engage with the local community and to give back through volunteering.
Our Service and Leadership Award gives students the opportunity to volunteer in local organisations and to help with community based projects. The award runs alongside an individual’s degree and is a great addition to a CV.
