Liverpool Hope will welcome Revd Professor David Wilkinson FRAS as this year’s speaker at the Annual Archbishop Blanch Memorial Lecture.
The Principal of St John’s College Durham and Professor in the Department of Theology and Religion at Durham University, will speak on Thursday 17th October 2019, at an event hosted by the Diocese of Liverpool and Liverpool Hope University.
Revd Professor David Wilkinson is an eminent theologian, and will speak on ‘Christ, Cosmos and Creation’.
Professor Wilkinson’s current body of work explores the relationship of the Christian theology to contemporary culture, from science to pop culture. He has had a long interest in the dialogue of science and religion, especially as it affects the physical sciences.
Thursday 17th October 2019, 7pm, EDEN Lecture Theatre, Hope Park.
