School of Health Sciences hosts human movement specialists

The School of Health Sciences hosted a special conference for one of the world’s leading technology providers in the study of human movement.

Experts gathered at Liverpool Hope University for the Noraxon USA User Group Meeting 2018, which featured a combination of informative and innovative keynote lectures, as well as practical workshops with a focus on Sports Performance, Clinical Motion Analysis, Return to Play, Ergonomic Studies, and Signal Processing.

The two-day event provided a strong stage for attendees from across Europe to exchange interests and knowledge with fellow colleagues and new acquaintances.

Professor Omid Khaiyat, Acting Head of the School of Health Sciences, said: “The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for the School of Health Sciences to showcase its research facilities during several practical workshops in the Biomechanics labs.

“Specific arrangements throughout the meeting, with the help of Conferencing team, provided a fantastic and vibrant environment for the networking. All the participants were clearly impressed by the beautiful surrounding of the campus.”
