Overview
The School of Computer Science and the Environment is an energetic team of academics, and our small class sizes and friendly, supportive atmosphere makes for an outstanding student experience.
The Computer Science courses offer a fresh, up-to-date curriculum that will give you excellent employment prospects. During your studies, you will have access to cutting-edge technologies such as virtual reality, drones, 3D prototyping facilities and robots.
Our Mathematics degrees have been highly rated in recent National Student Surveys, and our academics are all experts in their fields. Choosing to study with us will also provide you with the option to take a year in industry on our BSc Computer Science and MEng/BEng Electronic and Computer Engineering course.
Our Geography courses are developed using staff research expertise and are informed by links to industry. Several of our degrees have received professional accreditation from bodies including The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) and the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management. Taken together, these help our graduates to achieve success in a career of their choosing.
All of our courses include exciting fieldwork opportunities at all levels of study. These include local and national destinations and international fieldwork to Malta and Berlin.
