Capstone Theatre announces Autumn Season

The Capstone Theatre presents another exciting and eclectic line-up of performances for the Autumn 2018 season.

Launching on Wednesday 10th October, the new season welcomes a range of music, dance and theatre productions, as well as the MDI Leap Dance Festival.  

Mary Pearson’s FOMO, MOFOS! kicks of the season, with an exploration of the consequences of continuous self-exposure on the psyche. While other highlights include 2017’s Jazz Ensemble of the Year Phronesis, who will perform new music from their eighth album We Are All.

James Wilton Dance, one of Europe’s most in demand dance companies, presents The Storm, a whirlwind of lightning fast, athleticism, where acrobatics, breakdancing, martial arts and contact work fuse to form dance that will blow audiences away.

A WW1 Centenary Concert on Wednesday 5th December marks the centenary of the end World War I and the death of Scottish composer Cecil Coles who died in active service in 1918.

Elsewhere, Allerton Brass help audiences get into the Christmas spirit with a festive performance supported by Sudley Junior School Choir. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year precedes a three-night run of Chapterhouse Theatre Company’s A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.
