Pupils at Archbishop Blanch Church of England High School gained insights into higher education at a special careers convention featuring Dr Joseph Maslen.
The Lecturer in Education Studies attended the Liverpool & Sefton Chambers of Commerce event, which hosted 25 organisations offering information on a range of opportunities.
Following the event, Headteacher Heather Duggan thanked Joseph for his contribution, she said: “The girls were excited and enthused by what they were presented with and this was all down to your friendly approach, guidance and the time spent with the pupils.”
Dr Maslen said: “The pupils were a credit to the school, and I would definitely recommend participation in future events to colleagues in the Faculty of Education and beyond.”
