Aspiring young lawyers battled it out to be crowned victors at the National Speed Mooting Competition hosted by Liverpool Hope University.
Undergraduate Law and Graduate Diploma in Law students from across the country gathered at Hope for the fifth annual contest.
Participants represent themselves in an environment designed to reflect what daily life is like for a junior lawyer, and provides a great opportunity to gain experience of fast-paced advocacy with little preparation time.
Judged by practising lawyers, law lecturers and graduates, the contest lasted just one day and those finishing in the final eight, received a training contract interview at MAJ Law.
