Our research themes reflect this deeply-held commitment. Our academic colleagues are internationally recognised in particular for their work on business sustainability, purpose-driven leadership, human rights and democracy, environmental justice, extremism, and organised crime. We believe in the principles of social justice, and strive to instil both in our behaviour and in our teaching an entrepreneurial spirit that creates lasting and positive change in organisations and societies.

We also pride ourselves in the depth of our connections to our regional businesses who provide a continuing source of knowledge, of placements, and of oversight of our curricula so that our students are always in the forefront of the latest practices and ideas. Internationally we maintain an extensive network of university partnerships and representative organisations, such that our graduates have the opportunity to become truly global citizens.

And we do our work in the beautiful and friendly setting of the Hope Campus in Liverpool, creating a truly warm and supportive environment for learning.
