Admissions Officer - 4ASTA10P

We are looking for an Admissions Officer to join the Admissions Team at the University. 

You will play a vital role in managing a wide range of applications – including undergraduate, postgraduate, PGCE, School Direct, and international – contributing directly to the university’s recruitment and admissions activity.

About the Role

As part of the admissions team, you will be responsible for assessing applications, using the SITS system, scheduling interviews and auditions, managing offer conditions, and communicating decisions both internally and externally (including via UCAS and DfE systems). You will also liaise closely with colleagues across faculties and professional services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and make decisions on a variety of application types using agreed criteria
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry in SITS, and manage communication with UCAS
  • Support the organisation of interviews, auditions, and offer letter production
  • Provide advice and support to applicants throughout their journey
  • Monitor and report on application progress and follow up on conditions
  • Support the setup and delivery of Open House events (some Saturday work required)
  • Attend relevant internal and external meetings to stay aligned with best practice and developments
