Social work practice experience is essential, and we would welcome applications from candidates with a background working in any key social work sector.

In addition to supporting the teaching programmes, the successful candidate will also contribute to dissertation supervision, practice placement support, interviewing student applicants, and pastoral support to students. Our team is supported by an established group pf people with lived experience; and we are active members of the local teaching partnership.

The successful candidate may contribute to teaching in other areas of the Faculty including work on PGT and PGR as well as Foundation Year and UG provision.

A PhD is required for the role of Lecturer. For the Professional Tutor role individuals must have significant professional practice experience and knowledge.
