Senior Lecturer in History (0.2 FTE) - Ref: 2AHISTP30
The History team is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Lecturer to join our History team on a 0.2 FTE basis. The successful candidate will support teaching across the UG provision in History.
Candidates with a History background are preferred, and we would welcome applications from candidates who can contribute to our Early Modern and/or Modern provision, enriching our global approach. The successful candidate will develop a teaching block (lectures, tutorials, and seminars), including a bespoke Level H module based on a relevant specialism for the third-year single honours provision (approximately 48 scheduled teaching hours). The successful candidate will also support the teaching programme across other levels, field trips, and pastoral support to students.
Our team is supported by experienced historians with distinctive specialisms in Early Modern and Modern History and an outstanding record of pastoral support and pedagogical practice.
The successful candidate may contribute to teaching in other areas of the Faculty, including work on Foundation Year, UG Provision, PGT and PGR levels.
Successful candidates are required to have a PhD in a relevant subject discipline.
