Senior Lecturer in Social Work - Ref: 2ASOSCIW25
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Lecturer to join our social work teaching team. The successful candidate will support teaching across both the BA and MA Social Work, Health and Social Care, Public Health and other programmes across the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences.
Senior Lecturer in Social Work
Social work practice experience is preferred, and we would welcome applications from candidates with a background working with adults, mental health provision and working with people with protected characteristics in the social work/social care sector.
In addition to supporting the teaching programmes, the successful candidate will also contribute to dissertation supervision, practice placement support, interviewing student applicants, and pastoral support to students. Our team is supported by an established group pf people with lived experience; and we are active members of the local teaching partnership.
The successful candidate may contribute to teaching in other areas of the Faculty including work on the professional doctorate, PGT and PGR as well as Foundation Year and UG provision.
Successful candidates are required to have a PhD in a relevant subject discipline.
