Community outreach
We offer a variety of activities, events and workshops that cater to secondary school aged children and mature applicants to support them in considering university as a pathway to their future.
We have a range of free events designed to help young people up to the age of 18 discover their options after leaving school or college. We can offer on site drop-ins for advise, or structured presentations outlined below. All our sessions can be offered virtually or face-to-face, and are delivered by one of our community outreach coordinators.
Our activities focus on raising awareness of, and aspirations to, higher education. All our events and activities are free of charge to attend and will support your service users in making the right decisions with their next steps.

For mature and adult learners our Community Outreach team can provide a number of sessions to help them discover their options for accessing higher education. We can offer on site drop-ins for advise, or structured presentations as outlined above. We have a diverse mix of students studying on all our programmes, and we value the contribution that prior experience both academically and personally brings to the classroom. It’s Liverpool Hope University’s policy to admit those students who demonstrate they have the academic ability and personal motivation to succeed in their chosen programme of study.
All of our sessions can be offered virtually or face-to-face, and are delivered by an expert from our Community Outreach Team.
For more information about these types of outreach activities, please contact outreach@hope.ac.uk.
If you would like to draw up a meeting and discuss forming a collaborative partnership of ongoing and sustained outreach please contact one of the community outreach coordinators:
