Just one in five UK Higher Education providers achieved gold standard in the government’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) – including Liverpool Hope. We’re the only gold-rated university in the City.
According to the government’s Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), Liverpool Hope University is, “of the highest quality found in the UK" and is "delivering consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students.”
The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide provides an institutional ranking, based on student opinions of teaching quality and wider university experiences. This is combined with the outcomes of the 2014 research assessments, graduate job prospects and course entry standards.

Data used by The Complete University Guide to compile the tables comes from a number of different sources, namely the National Student Survey, Office for Students (OfS) for England, Scottish Funding Council (SFC), Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW), and The Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).
