GEOGRAPHY
If you're curious about the world and want to understand the biggest challenges facing society today, Geography at Liverpool Hope gives you the knowledge and practical skills to make a difference. You'll explore topics including climate change, sustainability, environmental change, global development, and the relationships between people, places, and landscapes.
This course is accredited by the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), the UK's professional body for geography. This means it has been independently recognised for its quality and helps ensure you'll develop the knowledge and skills employers value. You'll combine classroom learning with hands-on experience, using industry-standard Geographical Information Systems (GIS), specialist laboratories and our state-of-the-art Simulation Suite, where you can investigate real environmental and geographical challenges in a safe, immersive setting before applying your skills in the field.
Learning extends beyond campus through fieldwork across North West England, North Wales, the Lake District and the Peak District, as well as residential field courses in Berlin and Malta, where you will experience different places and cultures first-hand.
Taught by expert academics, you'll graduate with practical experience, research skills, digital expertise and the confidence to pursue careers in geography, environmental management, planning, sustainability, and many other sectors.
