Student parking permits must now be purchased directly from the Online Store.

Day students
Annual Parking Permits for day students must now be purchased directly from the Online Store and full payment of £60 will be required by Credit or Debit card. Once you have completed the Online Store process you will receive a confirmation email and a “self-print” parking permit. Printing the permit is now your responsibility and it must be clearly displayed in the front windscreen of your vehicle.

The misuse of the “self-print” parking permit is seen as fraud and strictly forbidden. The University will invoke disciplinary procedures against any student who misuses the parking permit.
Residential parking permit
The University actively discourages residential students from bringing cars onto the campus as it reduces the spaces available for those with genuine reasons to commute to the campus.
Permit allocations will only be made to Residential students in the following circumstances:
Students who are a Blue Badge Holder.
Student who require a car to attend placement as part of their academic course.
*Please note - students who do not satisfy the above criteria should not apply for a residential permit as they cannot be authorised.
If you meet the criteria to apply for a Residential Parking Permit you will need to complete the Residential Parking Permit Application through the Online Store for Authorisation.
If you choose to pay in full an email will be sent to you containing a payment link, and once completed the permit will be emailed to you.
If you choose to pay by way of an initial payment of £50 followed by 3 monthly instalments of £50 the team will contact you to set up the payment plan and email you a payment link for the initial £50. Once completed the permit will be emailed to you.
Student Blue Badge holders
Blue Badge holders will be entitled to an annual parking permit free of charge and can access any disabled parking space on campus. You will receive a confirmation email with details of when to collect your permit from the Cashiers' Office in the Gateway Building. Please note that you will need to present your Blue Badge when collecting your permit.

Temporary mobility parking
Any student who has a temporary need to access a disabled parking bay, but does not qualify for a Blue Badge, will need to complete the Student Temporary Mobility Parking Application Form and provide written medical evidence by email to gateway@hope.ac.uk A decision will be communicated whether or not to grant a Temporary Mobility Parking Permit as soon as possible.
All student permits are valid for an academic year (September to August) and you will need to re-apply every year.
Changes to vehicle registration
If you need to update your car registration details or lose your parking permit at any point, please email the Online Store at store@hope.ac.uk. There is no need to purchase another parking permit.
Lost or stolen permits
In the event of a permit being Lost, Stolen or no longer fit for purpose you should refer back to your original email and reprint your permit or contact the Online Store Administrator at store@hope.ac.uk.
Temporary overnight permits
Students on Field Trips, Global Hope visits and other overnight excursions organised by the University, may apply for a Temporary Overnight Parking Permit needs to be authorised by the Dean for Field Trips and overnight excursions or Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Life and Learning) for Global Hope visits.

Student Applications for parking permits for the academic year 2022-23 can be purchased from the Online Store
- Annual parking permits for students who wish to park at Hope Park are now available for purchase through the Online Store.

- Please note that before purchasing a permit you should read the Car parking policy.
- We also offer pay and display facilities where you can park your car at Hope Park all day.
There is no deadline for applications and permits can be applied for anytime throughout the year. However, the full year permit charge will apply, regardless of when the application is made.
