How to book
In order to attend a class you will need to make a reservation, reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance by ringing 0151 291 2911 or calling into the Centre.
If you have not made a prior booking you will not be allowed entry into the class.
You must sign in and show your card at Reception before you access the class.
Please note: during university holiday periods and non-term time, some classes may be suspended. To keep up to date with any changes, check these pages, our social media, or contact Hope Park Sports.
Attending a class
You must sign in and show your card at Reception before you gain entry into the class.
No entry will be granted in to the dance studio until the instructor arrives.
No bags/coats should be taken into the dance studio - lockers are provided for personal belongings.
Cancelling a class
If you need to cancel your place on a class you are booked onto, you must provide at least 3 hours' notice. Failure to do so will result in a £3 charge. Your membership will be suspended until you pay the fine.
To cancel a booking, ring 0151 291 2911.
If you do not notify us of your cancellation and then fail to show up for the class this will result in you being given 1 strike, if you receive 2 strikes within a 30 day period you will lose the right to book onto any further classes for a 30-day period.
Programme design
If you are looking for support or you are unsure of how to achieve your short and long term fitness goals you can speak to one of our staff members who will be able to provide you with a workout programme.
Visit the centre and ask at reception for further details.
Fitness challenges
Keep an eye out in the gym and via our social media pages to see what fitness challenges we will be offering to our members.
Fast classes
These 20 minute gym based exercise workouts take place within the fitness suite and can easily be built around your existing gym programme, or if you need support and guidance as to what exercises to do these are definitely for you.
Fast classes will be delivered by our Fitness Suite Attendants.

Active Women
This Girl Can is one that we have been passionate about over the years and we have ran a number of programmes in association with Sport England's national campaign. The This Girl Can campaign, is a celebration of active women who are doing their thing no matter how well they do it, how they look or even how red their face gets. We want to help women overcome the fear of judgement that is stopping too many women and girls from joining in.
Our aim is to tackle the barriers females face in accessing sport and exercise.
We will be running fitness classes throughout the year that will be aimed at females only, make sure you keep a look out for them.
Exercise your mind
Our campaign Exercise Your Mind combines physical fitness and mental wellbeing. We know exercise can be good for the body but it can also boost mode, improve sleep and relieve stress, depression and anxiety to name just a few benefits.
