Our fitness class programme offers a variety of instructor-led sessions designed to support your health, fitness and wellbeing. Whether you are new to exercise, looking to try something different or want to add variety to your existing routine, there's something for everyone.
From energetic workouts to strength, mobility and mind body sessions, our classes are a great way to stay active, meet others and enjoy your fitness journey.
All abilities are welcome and our instructors will help you work at a level thats right for you.

Class Descriptions
Pilates
A low impact workout performed on a mat using controlled movements to strengthen the core and improve flexibility, balance and posture. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Fitness Pilates
A low impact workout combining traditional Pilates movements with functional exercises, It helps improve core strength, flexibility, balance and posture.
All Areas Attack (AAA)
A full body fitness class combining cardio and strength exercises to target every major muscle group. It is designed to improve overall fitness, endurance and strength.
Morning Move
Morning Move is a gentle bodyweight workout using simple exercises and movements. It is a great way to ease into your morning and start the day feeling active and energised.
Core 360
Core 360 is a workout focusing on simple exercises for your core, glutes and legs. It helps improve strength, stability and balance.
HIIT IT
HIIT IT is a high intensity cardio class combining short bursts of fast paced exercises with brief recovery periods. It is designed to raise your heart rate, burn calories and improve your overall fitness, stamina and endurance.
Strength
Strength is a workout held in the Strength and Conditioning Suite, focusing on safe lifting techniques. It helps you build strength and confidence when using weights.
Body Blast
Body Blast is a full body workout using a variety of simple strength and cardio exercises. It works for your whole body to help you feel stronger, fitter and more energised.
How to book
In order to attend a class you will need to make a reservation, reservations can be made up to 7 days in advance by ringing 0151 291 2911 or calling into the Centre.
If you have not made a prior booking you will not be allowed entry into the class.
You must sign in and show your card at Reception before you access the class.
Please note: during university holiday periods and non-term time, some classes may be suspended. To keep up to date with any changes, check these pages, our social media, or contact Hope Park Sports.
Attending a class
You must sign in and show your card at Reception before you gain entry into the class.
No entry will be granted in to the dance studio until the instructor arrives.
No bags/coats should be taken into the dance studio - lockers are provided for personal belongings.
Cancelling a class
If you need to cancel your place on a class you are booked onto, you must provide at least 3 hours' notice. Failure to do so will result in a £3 charge. Your membership will be suspended until you pay the fine.

If you do not notify us of your cancellation and then fail to show up for the class this will result in you being given 1 strike, if you receive 2 strikes within a 30 day period you will lose the right to book onto any further classes for a 30-day period.
