What is sexual misconduct?
Sexual misconduct includes unwanted or unwelcome behaviour of a sexual nature. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Sexual harassment
- Sexual assault
- Rape
- Sharing or creating sexual images without consent
- Pressuring someone into sexual activity
- Behaviour that violates personal boundaries or consent
What is harassment?
Harassment is unwanted behaviour or conduct related to sex, gender, or any protected characteristic that creates a hostile, degrading, intimidating, humiliating, or offensive environment. It can be:
- Verbal
- Non-verbal
- Physical
- Online or digital
