Welcome to the Student Gateway

The Student Gateway aims to provide you with direct links to academic, personal, and facility support queries. If you need help or further information, you can contact us on 0151 291 3813 or email gateway@hope.ac.uk. You can also call into the Gateway Building and speak to the team on the front desk.

Everybody has a little wobble now and then. It’s normal to feel unsure about things. We know this can happen and have lots of ways to help.

Accommodation wobble?

Speak to your SRT at the daily drop-ins, 6.00-8.00pm, on all 3 campuses or email SRT@hope.ac.uk 

If you don’t live in Hope Halls of Residence contact advice@hope.ac.uk

Why not access our Mentoring Service and get tips and advice on academic writing or study skills?

Well-being wobble?

The University's Counselling Service & Mental Health and Well-being Teams are available throughout the week to assist you with any well-being concerns you may have.

We offer brief daily well-being drop-in sessions via Zoom video call or telephone during term-time, Mon to Fri, 12-2pm, where you can speak to a mental well-being professional. To access a drop-in, simply contact Student Development and Well-being on the morning you wish to access a drop-in and a member of the team will arrange things for you.  *Please note that a limited number of drop-in sessions are provided each day and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Learning support wobble?

The Learning Support Team are available to provide you with advice and assistance regarding your Learning Support Plan (LSP) or any other disability or learning support-related issue you may have.

The Student Advice Service offers all Liverpool Hope students a free and confidential listening and signposting service. To book an appointment, visit the service desk in the Gateway Building or email advice@hope.ac.uk

We also have the Chaplaincy Listening Service. Chaplains are available upon request on all three campuses. Pop into the Chaplaincy, email chaplaincy@hope.ac.uk, or call 0151 291 3545 to arrange an appointment.
