Student Futures Internships

The Student Futures Internships (SFI) programme provides Liverpool Hope students with the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience by working on meaningful projects within University departments and with external partner organisations.

The programme is designed to give students an authentic experience of the workplace, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to a real project while developing the skills, confidence and professional experience needed for graduate-level employment. Projects will be delivered across four key areas: Marketing & Creative, Technology, Business Support, and Research & Laboratory-based.

A professional experience from application to completion

The SFI Programme has been designed to reflect graduate recruitment processes. Students will apply for opportunities through a professional recruitment process, including competitive shortlisting and virtual interviews. Successful applicants will then work on a genuine project within their host department or organisation, gaining practical experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution.

Each internship will involve around 80 hours of project-based work. Projects may be delivered on campus, remotely or through a hybrid approach.  Successful applicants will also receive a bursary payment of up to £1,000 (payable in two instalments) for their participation in the programme.

Opportunities will be advertised throughout the academic year. Keep an eye on JobTeaser for available internships and information on how to apply or contact sfi@hope.ac.uk if you have any questions.
