What is Moodle?

Moodle is the University Virtual Learning Environment where you will find course specific information and will be able to upload coursework for assessment.

Moodle is available by logging in to MyHope.

How do I enrol on a Moodle course?

All student enrolment on Moodle courses is performed automatically from your student record.

What is Turnitin?

Details on the Turnitin service and how to use it are available from the Turnitin website.

How do I upload to Turnitin?

Turnitin only appears in a particular Moodle course if it has been enabled by the tutor. You will see a link in the course and then an upload facility to upload your file to Turnitin.

Please note that Turnitin can only process one file at a time and once submitted it can take up to 24 hours for the originality report to be produced.

Can I still access my old courses from last year?

Yes, simply login to the current Moodle and click top right to see 'My Moodle'. On this screen the 'Moodle archive' is available in the top right hand corner.
