What to submit

When submitting your story, please include:

• Introduction - a short summary
• Main story - the full details of your news or update (brief and factual)
• Images - a high resolution image(s)
A call to action or any supporting links or contact details
• Your contact details - so the Communications team can follow up if we need more information.

How it works

• Fill out the form with submission details
• Our communications team will review submissions for clarity, accuracy, and suitability
• Selected stories will be featured in an upcoming newsletter, reaching staff and / or students. Notable updates will be considered for external press and website features

Please note, due to the volume of requests received the communications team cannot guarantee coverage, although we will always try our best to accommodate and will recommend the most suitable platform to share your update.  

Submission tips

• Write your main story in plain, engaging language (avoid jargon where possible).
• Include high-resolution landscape images that you have permission to use.
• Share the “why it matters” - what makes this story special?

Consider what you want people to do with the information you’re giving them?

• Act on it - (follow a web link, sign up to an event, etc.)
• Read and digest (general awareness)
• Consult and feed back (surveys and forums)

If your story relates to an event or campaign and you’ve already booked design support or photography with our in-house team, please let us know by ticking the relevant boxes on the form.

Please note: This form is not for requesting design assets or booking photography. If you need those services, please contact design and or photography through the usual request process before completing this form.
