Learning Spaces
The Simulation Lab is a cutting-edge educational space designed to enhance teaching and learning through immersive, interactive technology. The 360° interactive room enabled engaging and dynamic teaching sessions, transforming traditional classroom seminars into experiential learning opportunities.
The space supports both individual and group learning, enabling users to visualise data, explore virtual environments, and simulate real-world processes in real time, the space has been used for poster presentations, training seminars and contemporary art performances.
In addition to teaching, the lab serves as a collaborative platform for students and academics to present their work, conduct interdisciplinary workshops, and host research showcases.
The Simulation Lab supports small to medium-sized seminar and tutorial groups, the room can comfortably fit in 30 people for teaching purposes, with bean bags and chairs being provided upon request.
Booking the Simulation Lab
Training (full training for staff new to the Simulation Lab, and refresher sessions) are provided by the Learning and teaching team, if you would like to view the simulation lab please do get in touch.
