Our MMath (Hons) MathematicsBSc (Hons) Mathematics with a Year in Industry and BSc (Hons) Mathematics degrees are all accredited to meet the educational requirements of the Chartered Mathematician designation awarded by the IMA.

Professor Atulya Nagar, Head of the School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering who has also recently been made a Fellow of IMA said: “The Mathematics degree at Liverpool Hope equips our students to think logically to solve problems, which is why mathematics graduates are in such high demand across a wide range of careers – from Banking to Engineering and Bio-Medical Sciences.

“This formal accreditation from the IMA confirms that our teaching meets the very highest standards, and also offers employers the confidence that they are recruiting high-calibre Mathematics graduates. The IMA accreditation means that students on the MMath programme are now able to apply immediately for Chartered Mathematician (CMath) status on completion of their degree, whilst those graduating from the BSc in Mathematics can apply for CMath status after further relevant training and experience.”
