Academic staff have the opportunity to apply for promotion to a higher grade on a regular basis using a well-defined process based on objective criteria (Academic Career Progression)
Support staff may apply for jobs advertised by the University at a higher grade. On occasions their jobs may also be reviewed as part of the HERA process.
